Facts and investigation
Attacker: Arkham-labeled cluster 'SIREN Whale' (146 addresses), Arkham entity ID 68296674-4a23-4fd4-ab30-72a06400ecf7. No real-world identity disclosed.
Timeline: Between June 13 and June 15, 2026, a cluster of 146 wallets controlling 92-94% of SIREN's circulating supply executed a coordinated 48-hour liquidation, dumping approximately 670 million SIREN tokens (roughly 335M per day) directly into BNB Chain trading pools, draining liquidity and crashing the token price from approximately $1.30 to $0.05, a 96% collapse. On June 14, 2026, on-chain analytics account Lookonchain issued the first public alert: 'the $SIREN whale has received 28M $USDT from selling $SIREN on-chain and has already deposited 25.7M $USDT to #Bitget and #Bybit. The whale still holds 478M $SIREN. The dump isn't over yet.' Arkham Intelligence subsequently labeled the wallet cluster as a single entity ('SIREN Whale,' 146 addresses, entity ID 68296674-4a23-4fd4-ab30-72a06400ecf7) and traced deposit flows to a Bybit deposit address and two distinct Bitget deposit addresses, totaling approximately 25.7M USDT moved to centralized exchanges. KuCoin Research published an analysis the same week characterizing the event as a 'whale-controlled rug pull.' As of the time of this report, the cluster retained 478.052M SIREN tokens (valued at approximately $62.43M at the depressed price, though largely illiquid given the token's collapsed market depth) along with smaller stablecoin and BNB holdings. No project team statement, compensation plan, or law enforcement action has been publicly reported. The real-world identity behind the wallet cluster remains undisclosed.
