Chronology

1 beat
  1. Between August 28 and 29, 2026, an attacker manipulated liquidation accounting logic across seven separate Ajna Protocol V2 pools on Ethereum, extracting a total of $775,400. Notably, the on-chain monitoring service Defimon had flagged the vulnerability via Discord more than an hour before the attack began, but the warning went unactioned. Because Ajna's contracts are immutable by design, the exploited pools cannot be patched, and recovery is not possible on-chain. The protocol advised affected liquidity providers to withdraw remaining funds. No attacker address has been publicly disclosed.
